|Camp dates for January 2017 are Monday the 23rd 9am to Wednesday the 25th of January 4pm.
Six places available for riders who can walk trot and canter, ride trot poles and do low level jumps.
|A typical day will be a bit like this:
You wake up and go and take a look at how your horse is doing, muck out the yard and feed.
Then we all go in for breakfast ourselves, after breakfast you tack up your horse for your riding lesson or you watch the other group of riders ride their lesson. After lessons and untacking and turning your horse out in the paddock we all go for lunch.
|After-lunch activities will vary each day. For example, we hope to be able to go and have a look at a big (thoroughbred)stud and training facility one day, or do an afternoon learning about show jumps, building show-jumping courses etc.
When we come back from our afternoon activities we feed our horses and have dinner ourself. After dinner is some time for yourself, read a book, watch tv or just have a nice talk together about the day.
On the last day we will have a fun day where we will do some games, jumping, bareback riding or whatever you would like to put your hand to. Everyone who is coming to pick you up will be welcome to come and have a look at what we have been doing on the last afternoon of the camp.
